Survival Knowledge
Given the times I feel we are coming into I believe survival knowledge and physical preparations are an important and useful step to take.
Whether it is economic collapse, war, or biblical tribulation, in all of these there would be serious chaos and debilitation of our current way of life and society.
Food, water and electricity distribution is likely to cease and extreme famine could occur. In this situation survival knowledge coupled with your physical preparations, skills, imagination, improvisation and determination (will) can help you to survive, and most importantly relying on Jesus Christ. I believe mental and spiritual preparations are VITAL to take and this is coming to faith in Jesus Christ as discussed in the Biblical Tribulation section.
There are a number of free survival related PDF documents listed in the downloads page. These include an Item List for a Leave On Foot Backpack (LOFB), and a 58 page PDF Survival Book I wrote detailing useful survival techniques and discussion, an item list for useful items for survival on a homestead, giving a good base level of survival information you can print off double-sided and keep in your backpack. I made a two part video showing the contents of a detailed Leave On Foot Backpack (LOFB). Such a backpack can be useful, even if you have a good location and have prepared in advance, this backpack can allow you to leave on foot in an emergency if you are forced to leave (bushfires, flood, war, chaos in your region etc.) but give you the survival essentials that can help you to potentially (God willing) survive an unknown period of time and help you to begin again. I believe this is very important encase you are forced to go on the move. Here is a video on an easy to setup minimal shipping container home. This could be setup under $5,000 and provides comfortable, secure and affordable accommodation (seasonal dependent). The container is good in storms and high winds, is difficult to break into and is a comfortable living area. I have made simple modifications to a basic 40 feet long 10 feet high cube shipping container to make it comfortable for living (wood stove, insulation paper, vents, carbon monoxide alarm etc.) Please consider the video if you are interested.

Great ideas. Unfortunately, for those like me who live in a small city, this would be less than practical nor would this ever fit into my budget being a single parent. However, it has inspired me to turn down my plate and seek the Lord like never before for instructions during these most critical hours. Getting into awesome physical shape is something that IS within my control that I can do to help myself in this situation. Oddly enough, I’ve had dreams of airplanes suddenly falling out of the sky, tsunamis, and zombies. Indeed I do believe we are in the end days. Have you received your training from the Lord? That’s good to hear, a strong faith in Jesus is more valuable than any amount of stored possessions. Do what you can as the Lord leads you! I don’t know I leave those things to the Lord, I want to see Him and do His will! I have received many dreams of training and refining from the Lord, and list them on my youtube. Hi Ashleigh I haven’t been shown much about floods in specific areas in dreams. I recommend you be in prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ regarding where you travel and where you stay, and go as you feel led. If you seek Him He will guide you and deliver you out of trouble.
