Survival Knowledge

Given the times I believe we are coming into, survival knowledge and physical preparations are an important and useful step to take.

Whether it is economic collapse, war, or biblical tribulation, natural disasters or simply a serious emergency, all of these situations can cause serious chaos and debilitation of our current way of life.

Food, water and electricity distribution could to cease and extreme famine could occur. In this situation survival knowledge coupled with your physical preparation, skills, imagination, improvisation and determination can help you to survive, with most important relying on Jesus Christ in faith. I believe mental and spiritual preparations are vital, and the crux of this is coming to faith in Jesus Christ as discussed in the Biblical Tribulation section, and understanding what is coming ahead.

There are two survival related PDF documents listed in the downloads page. These include an Item List for a Leave On Foot Backpack (LOFB), and a 58 page PDF Survival Book I wrote detailing useful survival techniques and discussion, and an item list for useful items for survival on a homestead. This can give you a good base level of survival information you can print off double-sided and keep in your backpack. Here is the link to the Survival Book and here is the Leave On Foot Backpack (LOFB) PDF.

I made a two part Youtube video showing the contents of a detailed Leave On Foot Backpack (LOFB). Such a backpack can be useful, even if you have a good location and have prepared in advance, this backpack can allow you to leave on foot in an emergency if you are forced to leave (bushfires, flood, war, chaos in your region etc.) but give you the survival essentials that can help you to potentially (God willing) survive an unknown period of time and help you to begin again. I believe this is very important encase you are forced to go on the move. Combine this with the LOFB PDF available above.

I have had many dreams about needing to be ready to flee at a moments notice in a chaotic time, potentially with nothing into the wilderness to survive, at the guidance and direction of the Lord Jesus. I encourage you to ready yourself and your loved ones with emergency backpacks like the Leave On Foot Backpack (LOFB) I suggest. This enables you to leave quickly in an emergency giving you survival essentials if you had to flee. Even if you have nothing, not even dressed properly, if the Lord tells you to flee then flee without delay!

Here is an important passage about that: Matthew 24:17-22 “Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”

It is better to have something prepared in advance that in the event of an emergency you will have needed survival essentials to make an escape from a dangerous area or situation. In your life and in what comes ahead, always trust in the Lord our God Jesus Christ at all times. He is our strength, our fortress and the Rock of our salvation. Abide in Him always and stay under the shadow of His Almighty wing. Praise God.

Here is an important video about how to prepare spiritually, mentally and physically for the days ahead:

Here is a video on an easy to setup minimal shipping container home. This could be setup under $5,000 AUD and provides comfortable, secure and affordable accommodation (seasonal dependent). The container is good in storms and high winds, is difficult to break into and is a comfortable but simple living area, like a camping upgrade. I have made simple modifications to a basic 40 feet long 10 feet tall high cube shipping container to make it more comfortable for living (wood stove, insulation paper, vents, carbon monoxide alarm etc.) Please consider the video if you are interested.

God bless you, Christopher.
